In an effort to raise money to combat urgent off-road recreation issues on public land, the nonprofit Tread Lightly! is holding a major charity auction on eBay, June 2-11.
More than 150 items have been donated from companies across the country for the cause, including a new UTV from John Deere, winches, helmets and plenty of powersports accessories.
“Recreation access has come to a pivotal crossroads this year,” said Tread Lightly!’s executive director Lori McCullough. “Tread Lightly! needs to grow its resources immediately to implement several education, communications and restoration initiatives designed to protect the outdoors and access.”

All T&T Customs products will now be sold under the Treks Off-road Equipment banner (mfg’d by T&T Customs) instead of the previous T&T Customs banner. With the addition of the JK (what I would argue is an XJ/TJ Hybrid) we’ve started to view down the road of the offroad capable vehicle as a whole – not just the rock crawler. The desire to go on offroad TREKS fully equipped caught our attention and hasn’t left our minds since that day. The testing of our products has never left the rocks and we will continue to do so but the new concept of TREKS has expanded our testing to adventure style wheeling to include the not so beaten path both for sight seeing and at speed keeping drivability and usability on the top of our requirements list when designing new products.
T&T Customs cannot settle with waiting to see where things will go. We’d rather see if we can get our customers there first. Hopefully the vision will become more clear as things progress this year and, as always, we’re open to your thoughts and opinions.
